At Pizza Shed, we are focused on creating the best possible product, using the finest local and imported ingredients we can get our hands on.
Our signature slow-proofed dough undergoes 72-hour fermentation before being baked in an extremely hot, wood-fired oven.
We set out with a goal to create the best pizza in Cape Town, and that goal hasn’t changed — and never will.
Available for sit-down and takeaway at all locations, though sit-down is recommended if you’re serious about having a great pizza!

We love – and therefore serve – a contemporary form of Neapolitan pizza called Pizza “Canotto.” This style is typically characterised by a larger, airier crust than traditional Neapolitan pizza.
Time, effort, and high-quality flour are what make our dough special – both in flavour and in how easily it’s digested.
We have an amazing team of incredibly passionate pizzaiolos, without whom Pizza Shed wouldn’t be what it is today.

Pizza Shed was born from a love for great pizza and good times. Founded by James Williams & Tando Bavuma, two friends who turned their passion into a thriving business during the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, they have built a brand that celebrates quality, community, and unpretentious fun.
